Step 1:
Pick up your phone!
· Do you want to speak with someone who will listen to what YOU want? Then call one of our highly trained Patient Counselors! This 10-20 minute conversation will get you started on your way to having a new, more confident you!
· From your very first phone call to your follow-up visits, you will have your own Patient Counselor to support you. Your Patient Counselor is there to guide you through all your steps at The Avalon Clinic.
Step 2:
Your Consultation with one of our Doctors!
· To ensure your safety and provide quality care we have 3 Board Certified Doctors with many years of experience.
· Determine if you are a candidate for surgery at your consultation.
· Get your questions about cosmetic surgery answered.
· Receive your patient notebook, your FREE step-by-step guide to cosmetic surgery.
· Find out about your financing options, speak with our full-time financial specialist.
· Schedule your surgery date!
Step 3:
Your Pre-operative Appointment!
· Lasts about an hour.
· For your safety, you will meet with one of our nurses for some routine testing.
· So that you can focus on your recovery, you will sign all the final paperwork, pay the balance due or sign your financial paperwork.
· To ensure your comfort and safety after surgery, a caregiver interview is completed with you support person so that they have detailed instructions on how to take care of you afterwards.
Step 4:
Your Surgery!
· To calm and relax you, you will receive a soothing neck and shoulder massage on your surgery day
· To go over any last minute questions or concerns, your Board Certified Cosmetic Surgeon will meet with you prior to your surgery.
· For your protection, you will spend some time in our recovery room after your procedure is complete.
· To ensure your privacy you and your support person will be escorted out our privacy exit, which is only a few steps away from recovery.
· Your Doctor is on call the night of your surgery.
Step 5:
Home for Recovery.
· To ease any discomfort you may be feeling, you will be prescribed some pain medication.
· Your 1st follow-up appointment will be scheduled 5-7 days after your surgery depending on your situation.
· So that you can get your questions answered, one of our nurses is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
