Financing Strategies for Plastic Surgery to Fit Any Budget!

Did You Catch the Latest Tele-seminar?

During last Wednesday nights tele-seminar, Patient Consultant Deborah Thomas and co-host Tammy West, Financial Coordinator revealed three case studies of actual patients who were each able to finance their cosmetic surgery procedures.

Several questions on financing were asked by attendees on Wednesday, which we were thrilled to answer!
Here are some of the questions our guests submitted:
"What would a monthly payment be if I was financed?
Who qualifies to be financed?
What if I don't have any credit and wanted to use my boyfriends credit? How much would have to be put down?"
"I am interested in financing of $5,000 or less for breast augmentation. If granted financing, what could be the lowest monthly payment? Or is payment based solely on income?
Do you do financing for half of the amount due if the other portion due is paid by a credit card or certified check, etc? "
"Do you accept co-signers for financing if you don't qualify?"
"If I have bad credit, can I still get financing?"
"What if you have had a bankruptcy 4 years ago, but have had good credit since. Which finance company should you go with so as not to lose points on your credit with multiple inquiries?"
If you happened to be one of the attendees, we appreciated having you with on the call with us. If you asked a question, thank you for contributing to the call.
Questions are very helpful to us as they provide all attendees with very valuable information.

Must Have Information About Breast Augmentation & Sizing

Did You Catch the Tele-seminar Wednesday Night?

During Wednesday nights tele-seminar, Doctor Kenevan and Patient Consultant Deborah Thomas revealed three case studies of actual patients who each had a breast augmentation procedure.

Several questions on breast augmentation and breast implant sizing were asked by attendees during the call which we were happy to answer! Here are some of the questions our guests submitted last night:

"I'm not confident with my breasts because they are hardly an A cup. I feel like a boy sometimes. How much would it cost to get implants?"

"I have been thinking about breast implants for a while, but I am really scared of surgery. Is everyone in your office board certified?"

"I am a yoga instructor and am interested in breast augmentation. Where do you place the implant, underneath the pectoral muscle or between the muscle and fascia? What is the recovery time for the muscle? When would I be able to do a pushup like movement?"

"What age do you consider too old for breast implants? I am 54 years old, but look and feel much younger. I am diabetic on pills. Please give me your opinion."

If you happened to be one of the attendees last night, we appreciated having you with us. If you submitted a question, thank you for contributing to the call. Questions are very helpful to us as they provide all attendees with very valuable information.

What is a Mommy-Makeover?

A mommy makeover is aimed at women of child bearing age and focuses on the two body parts that are almost always affected by pregnancy and aging, the breasts and abdomen.

Post-Baby Bodies is what we call the “Mommy Makeover.”

It often includes a Breast Augmentation (with or without a lift) and a Tummy Tuck.

With cosmetic surgery becoming a main stream phenomenon, women no longer have to accept their deflated or sagging breasts and lose or stretched skin from having their children like the generations of women before.

We did a survey of our patients and found that the majority of women seeking cosmetic surgery after pregnancy are in fact uncomfortable and embarrassed with their bodies and just want to feel “normal” again.

When it can be done safely, the “mommy makeover” offers many advantages
  • There is only one surgery.

  • One recovery period.

  • Less down time at home or away from work!

Our statistics here at the Avalon Clinic are aligned with the national trends!

Breast Augmentations and Tummy Tucks

were our two most performed cosmetic procedures last year!

BOTOX...There is Still Time!

Botox

Botox™ is a substance which - in low doses - is injected beneath the skin to minimize or smooth out lines and wrinkles on the face. It relaxes the muscles around the eyes, giving the recipient a clean, smooth facial appearance.
The results are temporary, lasting from three to six months.

What is Botox?
Botox Cosmetic is a purified protein (Botulinum Toxin Type A) produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, that is injected directly into the tiny facial muscles that contract and cause wrinkles. The injected toxin will then weaken or paralyze the muscles, causing the overlying skin to smooth out.

Is it harmful?
No, it is not harmful. Acceptable safety in long-term treatment has been well established.
Botox treatment is the number one cosmetic procedure performed each year.

How long does the Botox treatment take?
Botox Cosmetic is a quick and minimally invasive procedure that takes approximately 10 minutes. There is no downtime.

What does it feel like? Does it hurt?
The needle used is very fine and only a tiny amount of liquid is being used at each injection site. The pain associated with the injections is easily tolerated. The medicine tingles like a bee sting during the injection, but subsides within seconds.

How long does it last?
This depends entirely on the patient, but an average patient with a single treatment will last for approximately 3 months.
